History of the Magazine
In 1990 the first in-flight glossy magazine in English with the Russian translation, Leningrad News, was placed in the seat pockets of flights by the Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise. It was the only in-flight periodical in Russia at the time.
The magazine under that title existed up to 1992. When the city got back its historical name, the magazine was published as St.Petersburg News, and later it was re-named into St. Petersburg Review. In 1999 the Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise significantly expanded its operations, and the magazine reached the Moscow market. That’s why its title was changed again.
Since then the passengers have been reading Inflight Review. In October 2006 the Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise merged with GTK “Russia” and Inflight Review became an official in-flight magazine of the Russia state transport company.
